Stockport sealed their place in the League One play-offs with a 2-1 win over a Huddersfield side who finished with 10 men.
The visitors took the lead through Josh Koroma but County levelled through Fraser Horsfall and then won the game late on after Ollie Norwood dispatched a penalty.
Huddersfield opened the scoring just after the hour mark as Koroma was afforded ample space to pick his spot and fire past a sprawling Corey Addai.
The hosts did not back down though, as captain Horsfall headed home the leveller from Norwood’s corner just over 10 minutes later to get his side back into the game.
County were then given a golden chance to win with just minutes left as Benony Andresson was hauled down in the area by Matty Pearson and a penalty was awarded. Norwood stepped up and sent Addai the wrong way to seal the win.
Things went from bad to worse for Huddersfield in added time as substitute Callum Marshall was sent off for a high tackle on Horsfall.
